Nice seat for the price. The seat itself is very comfy. I like the cup holder and snack holder but they are not as sturdy as I would have hoped. They stay in place as long as there is not too much pressure on them.

Simple and ellegant!

This booster seat is extremely comfortable durable and has a simple and ellegant design. It looks great in my car and my little boy loves it!

At first I was hesitant to purchase this booster seat because of its color. I liked all clek booster seats but the olli models offered several colors while "ozzi" was only available in licorice. However I did not want to spend the extra money for the upholstery. So I thought why don't I try licorice and see if I can live with it. It turned out that the seat was black. I thought hmm this must be a mistake. I must have received the "olli" model by accident but the original packaging clearly said "ozzi". I highly recommend this booster seat!

absolutely LOVE it and so do my girls!!!!

I was a little skeptical at first because I had never used a carseat that used the actual seatbelt out of the car but I love it. My girls love that they are in "BIG" girl seats cup holders are wonderful the lights on the side make nighttime driving more enjoyable since they can now see what they are doing. Best BUY! This is the safest most sensible booster on the market.

Normally people don't look for bargains when it comes to safety let alone your child's safety. However this is a bargain you cannot overlook. The Britax goes for $300 there are other models on Amazon and at Babies R US for $100. I got 3 of these for a little over $100! These days people with more than 1 car and with family members aiding in child care can use more than 1 car seat.

So here are the facts Consumer Reports rated the Cosco Protex a best buy however that model is discontinued. So then I found the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety had the most recent reviews December 2009. They rated the Cosco Pronto a "Best Buy". Basically with the booster seat you are elevating the child so that a shoulder seat belt with come across a child's shoulder. They are designed for children 30lbs to 100lbs. Now that state laws require children to be in booster seats longer this is nice because we will not have to buy anymore seats now we have this one.



The Cosco is simple and my daughter cannot get out of our car's seat belt once I pull it out all the way and have it lock into place. In her car seat she would take the shoulder harness off making it less safe. So the fact that this is simple the cloth parts can be removed to be washed and we are utilizing the seat belt of our car which is stronger than any carseat belts I definitely recommend this booster seat. Plus you can buy 3 of these for the price of 1 of the other brands.

If you own it READ THIS REVIEW!!!! DANGER do not buy!

I had purchased two of these units from WalMart and had found a serious problem. Both units fail after adjusting the harness adjustment strap (pg. 8 of instruction book). The failure is this after an adjustment is made the harness release lever fails to cinch down tight enough on the harness adjustment strap to prevent slippage of the strap. I have made adjustments then placed my arm in the harness and pulled the harness adjustment strap loose enough to cause serious compromise to occupant safety. I have repeated this several times on both seats. Since contacting Consumers Reports U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) Dorel Juvenile Group (manufacturer of the seats) and National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) Dorel Juvenile Group agreed to send me two more seats in exchange for the defective seats. I received the two replacement seats February 1 2010. Upon inspection I immediately noticed one of the two seats exhibits the same failure as the original two seats. I find this alarming as I now am experiencing 75% failure rate on a car seat model that is top rated.More detail ...

Good seat for toddlers

This is a solid seat that will fit well in most compact cars.



I ended up sending this back due to the fact that while the product description says it is for 22lbs and up the box adds a minimum height requirement (36 inches) that I did not see on Amazon. Quite possibly it's listed somewhere and I missed the line. Just something to be aware of.More detail ...
